Introduction to the AMI SAC254 Monitoring System
The AMI SAC254 is an online monitoring device designed to measure UV absorbance at a wavelength of 254 nm (SAC254). This measurement enables continuous and automated tracking of organic pollution levels in water. It serves as an indirect yet highly effective method for determining the concentration of organic matter (such as DOC and TOC) in water treatment processes.
Key Measurement Parameters:
- UV Absorbance: Indicates the UV absorption capacity of organic substances, with a measurement range of 0–300 m⁻¹..
- UV Transmission: Shows the percentage of UV light transmitted through the sample, with a range of 0-100%.
- DOC, TOC: The device can estimate DOC and TOC concentrations (in ppm), which are critical indicators of organic pollution.
